Tajikistan Plans to Organize Joint Industrial Zones With Russia

The Government of Tajikistan is considering the possibility of building joint industrial zones with Russia, building on similar projects implemented with the Russian Federation in the states of Central Asia. This was reported by the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic, Sherali Kabir, adding that this idea was actively discussed with the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.

“Respected Minister Denis Valentinovich Manturov and I had a great conversation and came to the conclusion that, for example, we will also use this experience to create technological parks that Russia has built in other countries today, with our neighbors.”

In addition, there are plans to organize joint chemical technology parks and a machine-building cluster.

Recall that in July this year, Kabir made an official visit to Yekaterinburg to take part in the Innoprom-2023 exhibition.
