Russia Will Send Teachers With Textbooks to Tajikistan

The Russian Ministry of Education will send teachers and textbooks on the Russian language to Tajikistan. Specialists in physics, biology, chemistry and the Russian language will work in methodological centers based in schools, said the head of the Russian Ministry of Education, Sergei Kravtsov.

“We are now creating methodological centers on the basis of these schools, sending teachers, and not only of the Russian language – physics, biology, chemistry <…> A very important decision has been made – to supply textbooks in the Russian language,” said Sergei Kravtsov on the “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” on the TV channel “Russia 1”.

He clarified that an agreement had emerged on the training of teachers for Tajikistan on the basis of Russian centers and universities. Kravtsov noted that there are now five Russian schools open in the republic, the competition for which is ten people per place.
