Flour Prices Have Decreased in Tajikistan


Flour prices in Tajikistan decreased by more than 8%, the antimonopoly service of the republic announced on August 6, citing the customs authorities, the press service of the department reports.

It is specified that the average cost of one ton of flour is $335 (31.7 thousand rubles).

It is noted that more than 21 thousand tons of flour were imported into the territory of Tajikistan for a total amount of more than $7 million (664 million rubles).

It is indicated that the cost for the product has decreased due to the fall in flour prices in Kazakhstan. Export tariffs have also been reduced.

On the consumer market in the republic, you can buy flour from 200 to 255 somoni (from 1,700 to 2,200 rubles) for a bag of 50 kg. Compared to the beginning of the year, the cost has decreased from 12 to 23%.

Import of flour from Kazakhstan is 93.5%, from Russia 6.5%.
