Emomali Rahmon Prayed for Tajikistan in Kulob

Yesterday in Kulob, as part of a working trip to Khatlon, the President of Tajikistan visited the tomb of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni and read a prayer “for the peace of life of the people of the country, the development and prosperity of the Motherland,” the press service of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan reports.

It is noted that the mausoleum and the territory of the tomb of the outstanding scientist and thinker of the East Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni were completely renovated during the period of independence, and “turned into a prosperous and beautiful place, which is visited daily by hundreds of domestic and foreign tourists.”

Further in Kulyab, the head of state got acquainted with the living conditions of the population and opened new facilities, the press service of the head of state reports.

With his participation, school No. 48 in the village of Sangpar was commissioned. This new educational institution is designed for 640 students in two shifts and provides jobs for 40 teachers, the press service of the country’s leader notes in its message.

Emomali Rahmon also met with orphans from the districts of Farkhor, Baljuvan, Muminabad, Temurmalik, Mir Said Ali Hamadoni and Shamsiddin Shokhin, and presented gifts to 100 orphans.

He also participated in the opening of the Psychiatric and Drug Treatment Hospital in the Kulyab zone. It has 8 departments equipped with modern equipment and provides 24-hour treatment for drug addiction for a period of 3 to 21 days.
The President also visited the new building of the Mukhofiz Civil Service Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.
