Belarus, Turkey, Tajikistan and Mongolia: Volgograd Entrepreneurs Will Take Part in Four Business Missions

Entrepreneurs from the Volgograd region will take part in four more business missions by the end of 2023. With the assistance of the Export Support Center (ESC), they have presented their goods and services in Uzbekistan, Armenia, India and Egypt since the beginning of 2023. A business mission to Kazakhstan is currently underway.

According to information from the regional Center for Expertise, employees of the companies “Archeda-product”, “Aksai”, “Viridi-group”, “Bavilon”, IP Kim E.A. presented food products and household chemicals in Almaty. Entrepreneurs will hold a series of business meetings and negotiations with distributors. The program also includes a visit to the purchasing session of the World of Trade Convention, which will be attended by more than 500 representatives of the largest retail chains in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.

The Volgograd Region Export Support Center covers the costs of organizing a business mission, which is significant support for entrepreneurs. This mechanism is in demand by small businesses in the region – last year, 19 SMEs held business meetings in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Iran and Belarus. This allowed entrepreneurs to conclude export contracts worth more than $2 million. Since the beginning of 2023, more than 20 SMEs have already taken part in five business missions, and business trips to Turkey, Belarus, Mongolia and Tajikistan are also planned by the end of the year.

The development of new sales markets and the expansion of foreign economic activity are facilitated by the activities of the national projects “Small and Medium Enterprises” and “International Cooperation and Export”. Thanks to the developed and current federal and regional support measures, the number of exporters among SMEs in the Volgograd region in the first half of 2023 increased to 460.
