Unistream Has Stopped Transfers in Dollars and Euros to Tajikistan

Unistream stopped transfers in euros and dollars to and from Tajikistan, while transfers in rubles remained available. The system offered clients who did not receive currency transfers for any reason to issue a refund before September 30; after this date it will be impossible to do so. Previously, Unistream was subject to blocking US sanctions
The Unistream payment system has stopped issuing and sending transfers in euros and US dollars to and from Tajikistan, the service reported on its Telegram channel. Transfers in rubles remain available.

If the user previously sent a transfer in European and American currencies from or to Tajikistan, but for some reason did not receive it, then he can apply for a refund until September 30, 2023 at the bank sending the transfer. After this date, refunds of transfers in euros and dollars will not be possible.

In July, Unistream Bank, which services the payment system, came under blocking US sanctions. The service stated that it had developed an infrastructure solution that would allow interaction with partners to continue uninterruptedly as usual, but what it consisted of was not specified.

After falling under sanctions, banks in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan stopped working with Unistream. In some cases, transfers in rubles are still available.
