Tourist Arrivals in Tajikistan Increased by 33%


It is expected that the influx of foreign tourists to Tajikistan will increase by a third of the first half of 2023. Data provided by the Statistical Office headed by the President of the Republic.

According to a special provision of the ministry, within six months the republic successfully passed about half a million foreigners. Among them are 413,000 residents of Uzbekistan, 151,000 residents of Russia, 15,500 residents of Kazakhstan, 8,600 residents of China, 5,300 residents of Turkey, 4,300 residents of the United States, 2,700 residents of Iran and 2,400 residents of Afghanistan.

By the number of citizens who left the country, more than 1.5 million people left the republic. This is 40% more than the same period last year.
