Tomsk November 30th. INTERFAX-SIBERIA – The administration of the Tomsk region intends to develop cooperation with the regions of Tajikistan, said the region’s vice-governor Vasily Potemkin.
“The main areas of work are humanitarian cooperation, trade relations and personnel training,” Potemkin wrote in his telegram channel.
This week, a delegation of Tajikistan led by the Consul General of the Republic in Novosibirsk, Imomzoda Nazhmiddin, worked in Tomsk. During the visit, the delegation met with the Governor of the Tomsk region Vladimir Mazur, who noted that today Tomsk universities offer cooperation in the field of pharmacology and pharmaceuticals, as well as in the study of glaciers in Tajikistan, “since much attention is paid to the problem of water-ice balance.”
“We agreed on mutual business missions and the signing of an agreement with one of the regions of Tajikistan,” Potemkin added.
