CentralAsia (TJ) – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will take part in the European Union-Central Asia summit to be held in Kyrgyzstan on June 2, the press service of the Tajik head of state told Asia Plus.
The summit will also be attended by the leaders of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, as well as the deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
The European side at the meeting will be represented by the President of the European Council Charles Michel.
According to the source, a bilateral meeting between Emomali Rahmon and the head of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov is planned on the sidelines of the summit. What the presidents will discuss is not reported.
The first meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and President of the European Council Charles Michel took place in Astana on October 27, 2022.
