Emomali Rahmon expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the terrible accident that took place in Kulyab on Sunday, August 6, as a result of which 10 people died, the press service of the head of state reports.
It is noted that the President also wished a speedy recovery to the injured. Them, according to the CES RT. 13 people, 11 of whom were hospitalized. Currently, the condition of five is assessed as serious. They are in intensive care.
The head of state also instructed the relevant structures and bodies to provide material assistance to the families of the victims, take immediate measures to treat the injured and restore damaged houses.
Recall that the accident occurred on Sunday at 19:30 on the highway-Dushanbe-Kulyab-Khorog: the truck “Dulan” near the Kulyab market “Somoni” rammed several cars and crashed into houses.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the truck’s brake system failed. A criminal case has been initiated into the incident.
