DUSHANBE, 11/07/2023 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan takes part in the international tourism exhibition WTM, which takes place from November 6 to 8 in London, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. NIAT “Khovar” was informed about this by the Committee for Tourism Development.
The delegation includes the chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development, a representative of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, tourism service companies, representatives of the media, heads of production enterprises, management and teachers of domestic universities that train specialists in the field of tourism.
During the exhibition, the creative staff of the BBC World News channel presented visitors with information about video materials developed by this world-famous network on tourism potential, propaganda and development of the potential of the tourism sector of the Republic of Tajikistan, and presented it to representatives of Tajikistan for official use.
It should be noted that this video material will be broadcast in the form of an advertisement for the country’s tourism potential through the BBC World News channel and will soon be broadcast through the Euronews channel.
During the exhibition, domestic travel companies will sign memorandums to expand direct cooperation with other foreign travel companies.
It should be noted that with the constant support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, since 2008, representatives of the country’s tourism sector have been taking part in international events at authoritative world exhibitions as a full member of the World Tourism Organization ( UNWTO) and promote the republic’s tourism resources in the international arena.
