The CSTO Countries Have United the Air Defense System

The member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) have created a unified air defense system. This was announced by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu on the air of “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin.”

According to him, Russia has signed agreements with each country. “The unified air defense system exists in the CIS. But in the CSTO it was actually done. If documentation is required, we will document it. But we have a bilateral agreement with each of the CSTO member countries,” the minister noted.

Earlier, the leaders of the CSTO countries discussed issues of joint defense, combating crime and security.

The CSTO includes six countries – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
