This was stated by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon at the first summit of the leaders of the Arab countries and Central Asian states, which is taking place in Saudi Arabia.
“The priority areas for the implementation of investment projects were the energy, industry, including light and food industries, as well as agriculture, banking, tourism, digital economy, information and communication and transit and transport areas. In this context, taking into account the hydropower potential of Tajikistan, the special interest of the Tajik side in attracting investments from the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf for the development of green energy was emphasized,” the press service of Emomali Rahmon said.
During his speech, he also emphasized the importance of using the potential of financial institutions and development funds of the Gulf countries and the Islamic Development Bank Group (IDB) in the implementation of specific projects.
