According to the agency, for 6 months of 2023, Tajikistan imported about 7.7 thousand tons of medicines from 51 countries. This is 2,000 tons more than in the same period last year.
However, the main exporters were India and Russia with shares of 38% and 25%, respectively.
At the same time, a surge in HIV infections has been recorded in the country. For 6 months of 2023, 150 residents were diagnosed with such a diagnosis, which is 27 cases more than in the same period last year.
