The latest special equipment has replenished the arsenal of rescue equipment of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense of Tajikistan. The solemn transfer ceremony took place in Dushanbe.
Rescuers received multifunctional excavators, all-terrain vehicles and dozens of other types of the latest types of special equipment. All equipment was purchased within the framework of the national project of the Committee for Emergency Situations of Tajikistan with the participation of the Asian Development Bank. As the head of the Committee’s press center, Umeda Yusufi, noted, the resulting equipment is very necessary for rescuers; it will help save human lives and prevent casualties.
Earlier, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe donated modern computer equipment to rescuers in Tajikistan. Russian doctors and rescuers did not stand aside either. Cardiologists and endocrinologists have arrived in Tajikistan to see patients, and instructors from the Civil Protection Unit are teaching students first aid techniques.
