Representatives of Tajikistan Took Part in the Regional Forum in Kazakhstan

DUSHANBE, 11/07/2023 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Today, deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, member of the Committee on International Affairs, Public Associations and Information Muhammadullo Sheralizoda and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdulkodir Mavlodod took part and spoke at the regional forum “Central Asia on Climate Change, on the way to the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change “5 states – 1 region – 1 vote”, held in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The forum was attended by heads of government agencies of Central Asian countries on climate change issues, representatives of government agencies and parliaments of Central Asian states, activists of non-governmental, academic, scientific organizations, representatives of international organizations and the Regional Environmental Center of Central Asia.

The purpose of the meeting was to intensify regional cooperation on climate change issues in Central Asia, coordinate the positions of Central Asian states on issues discussed at the forum, and increase the effectiveness of the participation of Central Asian states in the forum.
