AKIPRESS.COM – President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Tajikistan on a state visit, president’s press service reported.
Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda met Serdar Berdimuhamedov upon landing at International Dushanbe Airport.
The two leaders will discuss a broad range of issues during the talks.
Documents of cooperation will be signed.
The visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Tajikistan was scheduled for April 10-11 earlier, but was postponed due to death of Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s grandmother.
The first meeting of Turkmenistan-Tajikistan Business Council was held in the National Library of Tajikistan on May 8 in run up to the visit of Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
More than 20 documents were signed.
