The Open Society Foundation has announced that it is winding down the Branch Office of the International Organization of Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation in Tajikistan after more than 25 years of work.
Closure is explained with wide global reorganization and transformation, started in 2021 on review of the priorities of its activities and restructuring of its more than 20 semi-autonomous national foundations around the world with the new regionally-led approach.
In this regard, Branch Office of the International Organization of Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation in the Republic of Tajikistan discontinues accepting grant project applications.
All obligations on disbursement in relation to the active grant projects will be met timely.
