An international forum is being held in Dushanbe on the topic “Launch of next generation mobile communication networks, organized by the mobile operator ZET-MOBILE together with the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
This significant event is timed to coincide with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on improving the quality and accessibility of mobile Internet. And also one of the most relevant and innovative technologies of our time – the generation of mobile communications of the future.
One of the main directions of the forum was the study of world practices in launching a 5G network. World experts shared their experience and spoke about best practices, which, of course, will allow Tajik participants to apply the acquired knowledge in local conditions.
The event’s speakers were leading experts from abroad.
Training objectives include introducing participants to the key technologies and concepts underlying 5G, identifying the key differences between 5G and previous generations of mobile technology, examining global practices for launching 5G networks, and exploring ways in which governments and regulators can proactively help accelerate adoption. 5G technologies and services in the country.
This forum is designed to highlight the potential of new technology for business and society. The event will be an important step in the development of mobile communications in Tajikistan and will help the country remain at the forefront of technological development.
It is worth noting that within the framework of the forum, round tables will also be organized with the participation of: international experts and local telecom representatives, industry associations, representatives of universities, research centers, which will create additional opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and experience.
The mobile company ZET-MOBILE officially launched full-fledged 5G into commercial operation in 2021. Fifth generation communications are currently available along the protocol route in the city of Dushanbe, near Barki Tojik, in the center of Khujand, as well as in the center of Bokhtar.
To connect to the 5G network, users do not need to change the SIM card or connect additional settings. If the smartphone supports 5G, the subscriber will need to go to service offices to register.
5G is not just another minor improvement to existing communication networks, but a fundamentally new technology that will allow existing business models to evolve in many industries.
