Kyrgyzstan Has Imported 20,200 Liters of Mineral Water From Saudi Arabia in 2023


AKIPRESS.COM – Kyrgyzstan has imported 20,200 liters of mineral water from Saudi Arabia in January-April 2023, according to the National Statistical Committee.

In monetary terms, import of mineral water amounted to $14,700 or made around $0.7 for a liter.

Last time Kyrgyzstan imported mineral water from Saudi Arabia in 2018, when 1,200 liters were imported.

The overall import of mineral water from abroad in January-April 2023 dropped 4.6 times to 1.7 million liters. Almost 70% of water (1.2 million liters) were imported from Kazakhstan.

Kyrgyzstan also imported mineral water from the following countries:

– Georgia — 156,600 liters;

– Turkiye — 145,600 liters;

– Russia — 137,600 liters;

– Uzbekistan — 63,100 liters;

– Saudi Arabia — 20,200 liters;

– Lithuania — 5,300 liters;

– Latvia — 900 liters.
