In Tajikistan, a Truck Without Brakes Flew Into Houses and Cars, 10 People Died


In Tajikistan, in the city of Kulyab in the Khatlon region, there was a massive accident involving a truck: the truck’s brakes failed, after which it crashed into two houses and rammed the rest of the cars. At least 10 people died.

The cause of the incident was the failure of the brakes. According to Radio Ozodi, at least 10 dead are known at the moment, and 14 more people were injured. A criminal case has been opened on this fact.

On behalf of the head of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Minister of Health, the head of the Khatlon region and other officials left for the scene.

Earlier, four people died, three more were injured as a result of a mass accident on a highway in the Krasnodar Territory. The tragedy occurred on the 16th kilometer of the Taman-Veselovka highway, where four cars collided: Chery Amulet, Toyota RAV4, Hyundai Solaris and Hyundai Elantra.
