The Presidents of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan met on the sidelines of the Central Asia + Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf summit to discuss the development of bilateral relations and the expansion of cooperation in various fields. It is reported by optimism.kz.
On the sidelines of the Summit “Central Asia + Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf” President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. The leaders discussed the development of relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, the implementation of the agreements reached during the state visit of Emomali Rahmon to Astana in May this year. The expansion of trade and economic cooperation and the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian cooperation were discussed. They also exchanged views on the regional and international agenda and discussed the schedule of upcoming meetings.
