Development of Bilateral Cooperation Discussed Between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan


BAKU, Azerbaijan, Oct. 2 Delegations of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan chaired by Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda and Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov held a meeting in Dushanbe.

According to Trend, various areas of cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

“The event emphasized that in recent years, in the light of the creative policy of the heads of state, the President of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, respected Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the development of bilateral relations has been ensured. Along with this, the parties, in order to fulfill the instructions of the heads of state, have shown interest in further strengthening ties in the fields of energy, trade, transport, agriculture, tourism and other areas and directions,” the report says.

The Prime Ministers of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan considered the implementation of the goals of the leaders of states to develop cooperation for both parties to be effective

Within the framework of the activities of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation, a two-fold development of relations between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan is ensured.
