The delegation of Turkmenistan, led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangykuli Atahalliyev, arrived in the Republic of Tajikistan to participate in the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
Let us remind you that on November 27-28, the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation will be held in Dushanbe.
The need to develop trade and economic ties and intensify the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan was discussed during the meeting of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, with the President of Turkmenistan, respected Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who visited Tajikistan in September of this year to participate in the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and meeting of the Council of Heads of Founding States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, including increasing the volume of trade turnover and cultural and humanitarian ties.
