DUSHANBE, 07.11.2023 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The first international taekwondo tournament WT for the Dushanbe City Chairman’s Cup took place in Dushanbe; Tajikistan won first place in the team competition. NIAT “Khovar” was informed about this by the Committee on Youth and Sports Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The opening ceremony of the tournament was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the city of Dushanbe, the Chairman of the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the Taekwondo Federation of WT Tajikistan and the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea.
Let us recall that more than 300 athletes took part in the international tournament, of which 120 were from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan and Mongolia.
Athletes from Tajikistan competed with them and won first place in the team competition.
